Origin/meaning
The Capitolian Shewolf alludes to the location of the Regiment to the City of Rome. The 13 Red Roundels symbolises the Number of the Regiment. The Grenade alludes to the Division and Brigade "Ganatieri di Sardegna" (Sardinian Grenadiers) which the Regiment served.
