Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted in 1949.
The town of Bogesund was renamed Ulricehamn in 1741, when it was named after Queen Ulrika Eleanora. The seal of the town use dto show a B, which was then changed into a U. The trefoils are based on the decoration of the seal.
