  • (de) In Silber auf schwarzem Schildfuss im Zinnenschnitt ein aufrecht stehender schwarzer, rot bewehrter Bär.

Origin/meaning

The arms are canting for the local Bärenburg (bear-castle). The castle existed from around 1100 until 1450. Only a few ruins remain of the castle at present.
