KONGSVINGER

Province : Hedmark

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 25, 1926.The arms show the Kongsvinger fortress over the Glomma river. The fortress is of historical importance. The colours were taken from the Norwegian flag.

The city uses the arms with a mural crown, which, however, is not officially granted.
