Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in 2020.
The grape refers to a wine-growing municipality. The columns symbolise the Gallo-Roman villa discovered in the municipality and the sword the passage of Charlemagne in the municipality. The keys with the chain are the symbol of the towns patron saint, Saint Peter's links. The waves symbolises the Seudre which waters the municipality.
