Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on November 18, 1957.
The hat and the two shells are the symbols of the local patron saint, St. Willebold. He came to Berkheim als a pilgrim in 1230 and is buried in the local church. The colours are derived from the arms of the Counts of Calw, as the saint belonged to the family of the counts.
