Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on August 31, 2018.

The two crossed keys are the symbol of St. Peter and thus symbolize the name of the municipality. The vulture refers to the reintroduction of the vulture. The blue base refers to the two rivers in the municipality; the Tarn and the Jonte.
