ČERVENÉ PEČKY

Province: Středočeský Kraj
District (Okres) : Kolín

Arms (crest) of Červené Pečky
Official blazon
Czech V červeném štítě zlatý heroldský kříž s osmi černými přivrácenými krokvemi (2, 2, 2, 2), uprostřed zlatý štítek s černou jelení hlavou s krkem a hrudí.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were registered on November 30, 2007.

The historical seal of the municipality uses a swan taken from the old arms of the Hrubý of Schwanenheim family. Their contemporary grant of arms uses the deer from the new arms of the Hrubý of Jelení family. The red background is canting for the municipality's name, the colour red likely derived from the colour of the local brewery building.
