ALBECK
State : Kärnten
District : Feldkirchen
German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 8, 1960.
The arms are based on the seals of the oldest known Lords of Albeck from 1260 and 1289. Both seals show a divided shield with one empty half and the other half with (probably) ermine on the oldest seal and three points on the later seal. The arms thus are based on the seal of 1260.
