THE KING'S OWN ROYAL BORDER REGIMENT, BRITISH ARMY

History: Formed in 1959 by the amalgamation of The King's Own Royal Regiment (Lancaster), British Army and The Border Regiment, British Army. In 2005 amalgamated with The King's Regiment, British Army and The Queen's Lancashire Regiment, British Army to form The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment (King's, Lancashire and Border), British Army.
