ROYAL AIR FORCE UNIT GOOSE BAY
History: Formed December 1, 1968 by renaming of RAF Detachment, Goose Bay.

Badge: On a hurt a plate overall a goose volant gules
Motto: Tingijub akkarvinga = Landing place of the large bird.
Origin/meaning
The badge shows a canting Goose inidcating the Location of the Unit in Goose Bay, Labrador, Canada. The RAF Roundel indicates the RAF Personnel making up the Unit.
