History: Formed at Oakington in November 1943.

A hawk diving sable holding in its beak a firebrand Or.
Motto: At first sight.
Origin/meaning
The Hawk symbolises the High Level Bombing Role and the Firebrand the Target Marking Role. The badge was granted in March 1945.
