Stafmoor.jpg

Official blazon

Or on a Mount of Heather in base a Curlew rising proper on a Chief Vert a Stafford Knot Or.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on 1976.

The arms are very simple. The base shows a curlew rising from a heathery moorland, while the chief shows a Staffordshire knot. Thus is shown the name Staffordshire Moorlands.
