Escudo de Oristà/Arms (crest) of Oristà
Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms have been officially granted on 1st June 1983.

The arms show the castle of Oristà (now disappeared) and a saltire or cross of St. Andrew, the local patron saint. The fleur-de-lis above is an attribute of St. Mary, the patron saint of La Torre d'Oristà, a village near the other main castle in the municipality, Tornamira.
