Escudo de Sant Llorenç de Morunys/Arms (crest) of Sant Llorenç de Morunys
Official blazon

Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 22nd April 1993.

The grill is the attribute of St. Lawrence, the local patron saint. The two thistles Or on Gules at both sides are taken from the canting arms of the viscounts of Cardona (a thistle is named "card" in Catalan), the lords of the town.
