Origin/meaning
The Chi-Rho symbolises Jesus Christ. The triple mount symbolises the earth and the resurrection. The gold and blue are the colours of the Netherlands symbolising the countrywide jurisdiction of the diocese.
The style of the mitre reflects the fact that the church was the Dutch branch of the English Old Catholic Church, the mitre thus more resembles the Anglican tradtion.
