DALBY

Region : Syddanmark
Amt (until 2007) : Vejle
Incorporated into: 1970 Kolding

Arms (crest) of Dalby (Kolding)

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1964.

The arms show a cattle head taken from the arms of the former Nørre Tyrstryp hundred. The bar with the 8 fields refers to the 8 parishes in the area that Denmark had to cede to Germany after the war from 1864.
