Origin/meaning
The arms of Auxiliary Bishop Eberlein shows heraldically on the right the arms of the Blessed Niels Stensen, apostolic vicar of the Nordic Missions (1638 -1686).
On the left in red is a white lamb with a cross flag as a symbol of Christ (Agnus Dei). This is taken from the coat of arms of the diocese (Archdiocese since 1992) of Warmia, which symbolises of the origin of the family of the bishop.
