Arms (crest) of Järfälla
Official blazon

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms have been used since 1955, but wer eonly registered in 1977.

The arms are derived from the former Sollentuna district, part of which was transformed in the Järfälla municipality. The oldest known seal, known since 1560, of Sollentuna already showed the Paschal lamb (Agnus Dei). The meaning of the unusual double cross is not known (a banner with a cross is more common).
