MURANSKA ZDYCHAVA

Province : Banská Bystrica
District (okres) : Revúca

Muránska Zdychava (Erb, znak)

Official blazon

V modrom štíte strieborné sklonené privrátené hrotmi nadol smerujúce radlice - čerieslo a lemeš - sprevádzané piatimi zlatými hviezdičkami: nad lemešom jednou, popri radliciach zvonku vždy dvoma.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1997.

The arms are based on the village seal from 1732 and show two plough irons, as a symbol for the agricultural character of the village. The stars are probably simply a decoration on the seal.

Literature: Kartous and Vrteľ
