Official blason:
Ein gespaltener Schild, vorne in Rot zwei schmale silberne Querbalken, hinten in Gruen eine aus dem Schildfusz emporwachsende goldene Aehre.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 22, 1981.
The two small bars are taken from the arms of the medieval Lords of Sierndorf, the wheat ear refers to the agricultural character of the municipality.
