RADVILIŠKIS
County : Šiauliai
Lithuanian | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
Radviliškis had no historical seals or arms, hence the arms were newly designed in 1991/2.
The city is a main railway junction in Lithuania. The horse is taken as a symbol of strength, but also of transportation. The rising horse thus symbolises a city which has emerged and expanded due to transportation. The rays of light (the breath) symbolises the role of civilisation.
