REGENSBERG

Canton :Zürich

Wappen von Regensberg/Arms (crest) of Regensberg

Official blazon

In Rot über grünem Sechsberg ein in zwei Wolken endender silberner Regenbogen.

Origin/meaning

The arms are canting, showing rain (Regen) and a rainbow over hills (Berg). The composition first appears on the seals of the city in the 13th century. During the centuries the composition has not changed, although the colours have differed widely.
