BODOC

District/county (județ) : Covasna

Stema Bodoc

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 25, 2004.

The mountain with three peaks represents the Bodoc Mountains, at the foot of which is the Bodoc commune.

The silver oval spot with the split silver bundle and falling in a curved shape represents the richness of mineral waters on the territory of Bodoc commune, with the famous bottled mineral water Bodoc.

The lower field corresponds to the lower field of the coat of arms of the Miko family, which in previous centuries patronized the church and school in Bodoc commune, as well as in Olteni village, a village belonging to Bodoc commune.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
