Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 28, 1979.

The arms are a combinaton of the arms of the Lords of Wiltz and Clervaux, with the arms of the Lords of Ouren. These families held several possessions in the municipality. The division and the two merles are derived from Wiltz and Clervaux, the cross and balls from Ouren.
