Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 28, 2007.
The elements on the right side (goat and rock) symbolically and heraldically represent the old coat of arms of Neamț County, with the rich wildlife and mountains in the area.
The elements on the left (ears) represent symbolically and heraldically the old coat of arms of Roman County, with the richness of the land and one of the basic occupations of the inhabitants of this area.
