Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, despicat. În partea superioară, în dreapta, în câmp argintiu, se află un pepene de aur pe o frunză verde. În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp albastru, se află o barză de argint. În vârful scutului, în câmp verde, se află un disc cu motiv solar de aur și o seceră de argint. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 6, 2011.
The silver field represents the water of the Mureș river, which borders the commune.
Watermelon (Cucumis melo) refers to the traditional occupation of the inhabitants.
The stork (symbol of stability and family devotion) is the protected bird in the area.
The disc and the sickle signify the valuable archeological vestiges from the Bronze Age, discovered on the territory of the locality.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
