The Green Peaks alludes to the Mountains near Asheville, N.C. where the Battalion HQ is located. The Scales, Pistol and fasces are taken from the Military Police Regimental Coat of Arms. The three stars are taken to represent the Military Police Motto: Assist, Protect and Defend.
