Escudo de púrpura, com um freixo de ouro realçado de verde, firmado no pé do escudo, acompanhado do tronco por duas espadas de ouro e por dois escudetes das quinas antigas de Portugal. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco com os dizeres a negro : " VILA DE FREIXO DE ESPADA À CINTA ".
