Escudo de ouro, com uma coroa de carrascos folhados e frutados de sua cor, enfiada por uma espada de prata, empunhada por uma mão de carnação movente do pé do escudo; ao centro da coroa a palavra " ALEU ", de vermelho. Coroa mural de prata de cinco torres. Listel branco com os dizeres : " VILA REAL ", a negro.
