Country: Lithuania County: Kaunas Municipality: Kaunas |
Lithuanian | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 30, 2002.
The arms symbolize the fight for freedom, torment, self-sacrifice and resurrection. People of Domeikava and the area were distinguished by their active fight for freedom since the uprising in 1863 until the anti-Soviet underground activities in 1980s.
