Kultakentässä kävelevä punainen härkä, kantaen oikealla etujalallaan punaista lippua, jossa hopeasimpukka; härän sarvet, sorkat ja nenärengas sekä lipputangon nuppi hopeaa.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 1, 1953.

The ox refers to the former main road, also known as the oxen-road through the village. The banner shows a scallop, symbol of St. James the Elder, patron saint of the local church.
