HARJAVALTA
Region : Satakunta
Former province : Länsi-Suomi (until 1997 Turku and Pori)
Official blazon
Sinisessä kentässä salamakimppu paaluittain, saatteena sen kummallakin puolella kaksi vinoristiä keskenään hirsittäin; kaikki kultaa.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 11, 1952.
The arms refer to the local hydroelectric dam built in the Kumo river. The crosses refer to the dam, the lightning bolts to the power station.
