Province : Oppland

Arms (crest) of Gran

Official blazon

I rødt to gull spisser som ender i kløverbladkors.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 11, 1987.

The arms symbolise the two small churches in the village, which both date from the 12th century. The design is based on the arms of the Norwegian Church, which uses a clover-leaf cross and red and golden colours.
