Official blazon
Sköld, delad av silver, vari en blå båt med hissade segel, och av blått, vari en merkuriestav av silver, på vardera sidan åtföljd av en stolpvis ställd fisk av silver med röd beväring, den högra vänstervänd.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 3, 1948.
Fjällbacka was not a separate municipality, but an urban area with special status within Kville municipality. It was abolished in 1964.
