Écartelé: au 1er de gueules à la bande d'or et à la bordure de vair, au 2e d'or au rencontre de taureau de sable, accorné d'argent, lampassé de gueules et couronné d'or, au 3e d'argent à trois tourteaux de gueules, au 4e de gueules à saint Martin à cheval, partageant son manteau avec un mendiant, le tout d'or.
Origin/meaning
The first three quarters refer to the former lords of the village: the La Fayette family (!), the Dukes of Mecklenburg (II) and the Courtenay family (III). The fourth quarter shows the local patron saint, St. Martin of Tours.
