Escudo de prata, faixa ondeada de azul e prata de três peças; em chefe, leão rompante de púrpura, armado e lampassado de vermelho, segurando um tridente do mesmo; em ponta, duas canas de verde, geminadas e arrancadas de negro, espigada de sua cor. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas : “ CANELAS – PENAFIEL “.
