Official blazon

D'argent à la fasce vivrée de gueules, surmontée d'une croix pattée de sable, et soutenue d'une étoile d'azur.

Origin/meaning

The bar is taken from the arms of the Barons Kerpen, to which the village historically belonged. The cross is the symbol of the Teutonic Order, which had some possessions in the area. The star os a symbol for the local church.
