NOWA SARZYNA
Province: Podkarpackie
County: Leżajsk
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on December 30, 2008.
The arms indicate with the two retorts the chemical industry that is important for the development of the town. The flower is an Azalea flower, a very rare plant which can be found in the area. The blue refers to the San river.
The previous arms show a benzene ring for the chemical industry, in the Polish national colours. The trees refer to the nature and the letters COP to Centralny Okręg Przemysłowy, or Central Industrial Region, a large industrial area.
