CHAMBREY

Département : Moselle

Blason de Chambrey

Official blazon

Coupé de gueules et d'or, à deux besants en chef et un tourteau en pointe de l'un en l'autre.

Origin/meaning

The division line refers to the fact that the village historically was part of two jurisdictions. The three balls are the symbol of St. Étienne (Stephen), as the village historically partly belonged to the Chapter of Saint Etienne de Vic.
