ARCHDIOCESE OF LJUBLJANA (Archidioecesis Labacensis)

Denomination : Roman Catholic

Established : Diocese in 1461 also known as the Diocese of Laibach (the German name of the city of Ljubljana). Elevated to an Archdiocese in 1788 but demoted to a Diocese again in 1807. Elevated to an Archdiocese again in 1961.
