ARCHDIOCESE OF MIAMI (Archidioecesis Miamiensis)

Official blazon
Azure, on a fess abased or, rising from this a palm tree of the same between two crosses patée argent, four bars wavy of the last.
Origin/meaning
The palmtree in gold bespeaks the territory of the archdiocese, where these trees grow plentifully and luxuriously, so much that is is practically a symbol of this area.
