WEINBURG AM SASSBACH
State : Steiermark
District : Leibnitz (until 2015 Bad Radkersburg)
Incorporated into : 2015 Sankt Veit in der Südsteiermark
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on 7 April, 1975.
The arms are canting. The municipality takes its name after the medieval castle (in German: Burg, sometimes "Schloss") of Weinburg, which has been depicted in the arms. The grape illustrates the Wein (wine) part of the name.
