Escudo esquartelado – I e IV de vermelho, cruz flordelisada de prata, aberta do campo; II e III de vermelho , nove lisonjas de prata, apontadas e firmadas nos bordos do escudo, postas três, três, três, cada uma carregada de um leão de púrpura. Brocante sobre tudo uma palma de ouro posta em pala. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro: “ FREGUESIA DE S. JOÃO DE BRITO “.
