În câmp de azur se află un far de argint, însoţit în dreapta de o timonă şi în stânga de un soare, de aur. În vârful scutului sunt amplasate două fascii undate, negre, cu marginile de argint. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint, cu trei turnuri crenelate.

The arms refer to the Sulina river (a branch of the Danube) and the local lighthouse. The wheel refers to the local port and shipping. The sun indicates that Sulina is the Easternmost town in Romania.
