I grönt fält ett med råsegel tacklat enmastat skepp av guld och däröver i ginstammen en störtad spets av guld, belagd med tre bjälkvis ordnade och stolpvis ställda gröna sädesax.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 1, 1957.

The point with the wheatears refer to the peninsula (näs) on which the municipality is situated. The wheatears refer to agriculture. The boat is taken from the historical seal of the Näs härad (known from 1642), to which the area belonged.
