THE NORTH STAFFORDSHIRE REGIMENT (THE PRINCE OF WALES'S), BRITISH ARMY
History: Raised in 1756 as the 2nd Battalion of the 11th Foot, becoming in 1758 64th Foot and in 1824 as the 98th Foot. Those two Regiments in 1881 become the 1st and 2nd Battalions of the (Prince of Wales's) North Staffordshire Regiment. In 1959 amalgamated with The South Staffordshire Regiment, British Army to form The Staffordshire Regiment (The Prince of Wales's), British Army.
