Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on June 16, 1986.
Großhart is a municipality in Eastern Styria. Over the centuries, it has suffered in the course of several invasions. To denote this, a sword was put into the arms. The heron is a reference to the Harter Teich, a small lake or pond with an interesting fauna.
