Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on April 28, 1989.
The symbol is a wheel - the background that in the region there was a lot of wooden wheelmakers and wagonmakers living during the 19th century. That was the start for furniture factories and more modern production. The official slogan of the community is "Vaggeryd the community where the wheels always are rolling".
