MITTERBERG
State : Steiermark
District : Liezen
Incorporated into : 2015 Mitterberg-Sankt Martin
Official blazon
In Schwarz eine links gerichtete silberne Spitze, in der vom linken Schildrand nach vorne aufwärts eine gestielte blaue Lilie wächst.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on 29 June, 1981.
The arms take up the arms of the Payr zu Gstatt family, local squires in the 14th century. The fleur-de-lis stands for a chapel dedicated to Our Lady at the Sölkpaß road.
